TW Doula Training is the only doula training that focuses on reshaping the doula profession into expertise support for birth and postpartum night doula care. Other doula trainings do not assist you in preparing to be a good postpartum night doula and overlooks this key way parents get most of the postpartum doula support they want after their baby is born. My doula training emphasizes thorough training and preparation for new doulas in is the fastest growing sector in our industry. When I first started out 15 years ago, doula care was still very new to the world and most people focused a lot on birth doula care and did not have the insight into the depth of postpartum care. Now things have changed where parents are more aware of what doulas offer and how they can get the best out of their time with a doula. Most parents find night doula support a huge necessity if they are considering doula care because it helps mama heal from birth, establish healthy eating and sleeping habits for baby, and gives double the amount of time for postpartum support than that offered during the day.

I prepare new doulas to understand the perspective of new modern parents and what new mamas are having to navigate as parents in our very fast-paced, socially connected world. This is something often overlooked in many other trainings and can leave a new doula unequipped to help parents of this age and era of parenting.

Classes are offered as Live Online Classes and with In-Person Trainings.

Live Online trainings occur over the course of four weekends and in-Person Trainings occur over the course of two weekends or one week if it is retreat style.
